Day 1 : Macinaggio / Centuri ( 1.30 h )
This small fishing port is too small to try to return with your sailboat there, but the mooring in front of is very pleasant excepting by wind of SW NW. This first or last mooring before Macinaggio will leave you excellent memories of the traditional Corsican cooking with base of fish.
Day 2 : Centuri / Calvi ( 5 h ).
Magnificent port, very easily accessible by any weather. The last one stop to make your supply before discovering the magnificent " Reserve of Scandola ".
Day 3 : Calvi / Girolata ( 2.30 h)
This small village, propped up at the bottom of a quiet handle, always refused the road of automobiles. We come there thus by the sea or on foot after 2 good hours of walking. Attention by wind of SW.
Day 4 : Girolata / Golfe de Porto et Capo Rosso ( 3 h )
Small port charming with restaurants and the village above which it is absolutely necessary to visit. Mooring outside of the port.
Day 5 : Capo Rosso / L’Ile Rousse ( 4 h )
The Red Island offers several solutions of shelters. By West wind we shall put ourselves in the southeast in front of the beach, in the handle which receives the traffic of business. By North wind we shall cast anchor on the other side of Pietra, in the creek of Branca or in the handle of Sicota by 5 - 10 m of bottom.
Day 6 : L’Ile Rousse / St Florent ( 2.15 h)
Port sheltered from all the winds. Difficult access by strong wind and sea NW in N. Port of 820 places among which 270 for the visitors.
Day 7 : St Florent / Macinaggio ( 2.20 h)
You have 3 ports to Bastia of whom " the Old harbor " situated in the center of the old town. It is a ancient fishing port with good restaurants and with numerous stores surroundings. Marina " Port Toga " in the North of the city offers too stores and restaurants but attention to the moistening by wind of E-NE. Port Saint Nicolas which is the commercial harbour is forbidden pleasure boats.
Day 8 : Macinaggio
