Day 1 : Macinaggio / Capraia (3 hours)
It is a very small charming island at only three hours of Macinaggio. Mooring clear and protected just in front of the small port if this one is complete. All the charm of Italy at feet of a citadel.
Day 2 : Capraia / Porto Ferraio (Elbe) (3 hours)
Porto Ferraio is the most important port of Elba's island, and the most known with Napoleon's house which you can visit. The apartments of the Emperor stayed such as they were has the end of the 18th century. It will be necessary you to go up in the top of the citadel. There is of excellent trattorias behind the port.
Day 3 : Elbe / Solenzara (8.30 hours)
The marina of Solenzara is situated in the mouth of the river Solenzara with fires of entrance, red and green, access to the port. It offers 450 places among which 150 for the visitors. Are assured water and electricity, running (with unleaded gasoline), grutages, repair shops, offshore rescues, diving clubs.
The harbour office is every day opened, from 7 to 21 hours in summer, with sanitary installations and information on the weather forecast. The village, situated in 200 metres, offers a multitude of services launderette, tourist office, restaurants, car rentals, grocer's shop, automated teller machines, post office, doctors, pharmacy..
Day 4 : Solenzara / Porto Vecchio (2 hours)
Situated to 25 km of the surprising Bonifacio, the city of Porto-Vecchio gathers all the advantages of a seaside city in the heart of an exceptional natural case.
Day 5 : Porto Vecchio / Isola della Maddalena (2.30 hours)
Situated in the North of Sardinia and accessible in ferry since Palau, the archipelago of the Maddalena is one of the most beautiful places of the Mediterranean Sea. There is only a single village, wearing the name of the archipelago, which preserved the ancestral aspect of the coastal villages of the region.
When the weather conditions allow it, it is possible to go to admire the natural paradise which offer the small islands of Spargi, Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria with their creeks of white sand surmounted by pink granite polished by the sea and the wind. Magic bathing in their transparent waters protected by cliffs.
Day 6 : Isola della Maddalena / Bonifaccio (2 hours)
Port sheltered well in all weathers. It is necessary in the daytime of mistral where it is better not to linger in Bonifacio's mouths.
Beautiful port, difficult access in the daytime of SW. Imperative visit of the old town in the timeless charm.
Day 7 : Bonifaccio / Golfe du Valinco (4 hours)
Delimited in the North by the cape of Muro and in the South by the headland of Campomoro, the gulf of Valinco offers the classic landscape in Corsica of points interrupted with beaches, whereas the scrubland, where prevail holm oaks and strawberry trees, extends up to the sea.
Day 8 : Golfe du Valinco / Ajaccio (2 hours)
Monuments, avenues, places, streets, museums, hill of Casone, the memory of the Emperor is present everywhere in its home town, to the point that Emile Bergerat was able to say about Ajaccio that it'is the " memory of big Corsica with houses all around ". Two ports : port of the Admiralty and Port Tino Rossi.
Day 9 : Ajaccio / Cargese (2 hours)
In the port of Cargèse we find some water, some electricity, a restaurant.
In the city, situated at the top of the hill, we find everything for the supply, in particular a supermarket.
Dominating the sea, on a headland of granite, several cities set up themselves successively. The first village was established in 1774 by a Greek colony of the Peloponnese, already taken refuge in Corsican earth since 1676, avoiding the Turkish persecutions. Two churches, the one Greek and the other Latin, witnesses of this period, are towards made.
Day 10 : Cargese / Golfe de Porto (3 hours)
Small port charming with restaurants and the village above which it is absolutely necessary to visit. Imperative mooring outside of the port.
Day 11 : Golfe de Porto / Calvi (3 hours)
Magnificent port, very easily accessible by any weather. The last one stop to make your supply before discovering the magnificent " Reserve of Scandola ".
Day 12 : Calvi / St Florent (3 hours)
From Saint Florent to the Red Island you will pass off the desert of Agriates which offers numerous beaches for mooorings of good weather. Inaccessible by the road, the peace is assured.
It is the vastest site of the Conservatoire du Littoral at the national level with 5300 ha acquired to which one are added 5000 ha of municipal grounds. This unlimitedness of Mediterranean scrubland and rocks - improperly called "desert" - preserves numerous vestiges of an intense agropastorale life as well as a unique megalithic necropolis in the Mediterranean Sea.
Day 13 : St Florent / Centuri (3 hours)
This small fishing port is too small to try to return with your sailboat there, but the mooring in front of is very pleasant excepting by wind of SW NW. This first or last mooring before Macinaggio will leave you excellent memories of the traditional Corsican cooking with base of fish.
Day 14 : Centuri / Macinaggio (1.30 hour)
Return to Macinaggio in the afternoon.
Day 15 : Macinaggio
Disembarkation.
