CLIMATE AND WINDS
The French Mediterranean benefits from a highly privileged climate, particularly in the Var region of France and Toulon, which has an annual average of over 2,800 hours of sunshine ( over 300 days a year of sunshine ).
The average summer temperature reaches 25° and the pre-seasons ( May ) and the après seasons ( October ) are particularly pleasant with averages of close to 20°.

PRACTICAL INFO
Our PPR base is the perfect starting point for enabling you to sail to the east towards the Bay of Saint Tropez via the Iles d’Or and to the west towards the rocky inlets of Cassis and Marseille.
The pearl of the Iles d’Or, Port Cros – the only national park with a preservation order on it in Europe for its marine and underwater environment – what await you are creeks with crystal-clear water and a unique flora and fauna. Flippers, masks and snorkels are all you need to spend some magical moments here. Porquerolles, another nature reserve, offers a number of sheltered moorings with beautiful white sandy beaches on the north coast.
The bay of St Tropez isn’t just a famous resort and an unmissable stopover for the jet-set but also comprises some fabulous Provençale landscapes.
Further to the west the ‘calanques’ or rocky inlets around Cassis and Marseille accommodate an exceptional sea bed.
Close to the base – 30 mins from the airport in Hyères / Toulon and a little over an hour from that of Marseille – you will find all the shops.
